Founded in 1997, The Planet Art was conceptualised as a variety of businesses all broadly relating to media and the arts.

Our businesses include consultancy and equipment sales, a state of the art sound recording studio, design, and an internationally affiliated art gallery. The Planet Art provides a consultancy, sales, installation and back-up service of turnkey, high-end media systems as well as full design, construction and installation of recording studios. We are a reseller of musical instruments, and can internationally source and import specialised or vintage equipment.

The Planet Art is a commercial property owner and has, in recent years, established itself as a sought after media-hub where like-minded business share a creative environment in the Cape Town City center.

Our spaces are a reflection of our own business ideals. We believe that your environment fosters and supports your creativity and need to be a reflection of your personality. We have furnished large areas of our facilities as shared communal spaces for meetings, relaxing, fuss-ball leagues and art appreciation.
